For those of you who love the cello and bass parts in this. By this time
Beethoven was almost completely deaf. If you think about listening to music in your car, loudly you can almost feel the bass in your chest. He uses it for key sections of this and other symphonies, especially the 9th, where those instruments introduce the theme that would become the Ode to Joy. Maybe he trusted them the most because he could feel them.

@Sofakingbeastn there is no pause between the 3rd and 4th movement. go listen to the 4th :]
-
I love the bass and cello solo when it switches into c major instead of minor at 1:43

@scottdotjazzman ah that makes sense. thanks.

@Sofakingbeastn Simple, this is only the third movement and it runs right into the fourth movement without a pause. This is called an Attacca.

whoa, why does it end so abruptly? it was like a slap to the face when i was waiting for the next part and it just stopped.

@bassbass99able Haha this music went into public domain before you were born. The beauty of this music is that bastard record labels have no ability to copyright it. It's ours to enjoy no matter what. as to whether the recording is copyrighted who knows? The poster could have recorded it for all you know.

Love Ludwig von Beethoven to death...in my opinion, he alone is the most powerful, beautiful of composers of all times though he's in heaven for a couple of centuries; this is a fav part of no. 5, a dream come true!! The orchestra with its bass, cellos & violins & other strings & wind instruments is extremely compelling...Bravo!!
