something haram can occasionally be made halal if the chemical nature of the substance is altered so much that it ends up being a totally different substance. whether or not marijuana or canabis falls into that legal category if altered to this extreme I am not sure, but I seriously doubt it. I want NOTHING to do with marijuana in ANY form!

Cannabis is a "real drug;" it's natural and has been used medicinally for over 7,000 years and has NEVER CAUSED AN OVERDOSE, while Marinol (your "safe" pharmaceutical drug which is 100% THC) has ALREADY CAUSED DEATH.
