  • She's a beautiful person.

  • This is so much more important than 99.9% of what's on tv.

  • I would think that she would avoid these evil contraptions of the modern industrialized world. If she were riding a horse or bicycle or walking then perhaps she would not have suffered by the wrath of technology. I hope she did not go to a hospital that used wood or paper products since they result from the cruel destruction of trees.

  • she was in a serious car accident

  • Per chi vuole incontrare Julia Butterfly Hill in Italia sarà a Firenze il 9 Settembre 2009 al Museo Ortobotanico - Giardino dei Semplici dalle 17 in poi. Un'occasione da non perdere ... hi

  • truth and justice never rest!

  • I live in Germany and we have an article about her in our english school book!

  • For your information I would like to point out that Julia's book was printed on paper made from 30% post-consumer recycled fibres and 70% Forestry Stewardship Council-certified paper using soy-based inks. As for her platform I can tell you that it was made from wood scraps from a salvage yard. Please get your facts straight before you criticise both my comments and Julia's brave endeavour to save the Giant Redwoods- in particular Luna. I think you are the f****** stupid moron - get some sense!

  • I live in the UK and I am unsure what tree logging goes on in this country compared to the USA,but I hope it is not on such a large scale. I have just finished reading Julia' biography ' The Legacy Of Luna ' and found it most inspiring reading. She was and is one brave human being, and I was so glad to read of Joan Baez and Bonnie Raitt visiting her on the platform and sharing stories, ideals and songs. Ive seen Joan in concert and hearing her tell us about Julia I wanted to read about her myself

  • sure my believes are born out of logic and compassion and sprinkled with love!

    How about you?
