The dispute in Sudan is about an impending election and referendum. Heads of state from the regional body IGAD, gave the country until May to resolve differences that are threatening its fragile peace.

  • I am a North Sudanese,but i don't see myself nor other northerners as Arabs.I don't believe in that twisted history.But i would hate to see the South split and leave,as i consider it my country just as much as the north.I would rather see a united North-South front against the dictatorship in Khartoum,and build a new real democratic Sudan.

  • Am definitely sure that the North will manipulate the election, am not sure whether the Africa nations can offer any help since they are also in a mess.
