The "horo" is the most common folkloric dance. It is performed by a group of men and women, typically holding hands and dancing in a circle. The "horo" style varies by region.

The first dance is a simple square dance, "Pravo Trakiisko Horo", from the South of Bulgaria, Thracian region.

The second dance is a "Daichovo Horo", with a characteristic uneven rhythm 9/16. It is a dynamic dance that is common in the Northern part of the country.
