Wow, great tutorial. I posted it on my blog and also on facebook. Pillow cases are on my list this year to make and these will be so nice and finished that I can make and sell them.

Great video! Much more easy to understand than written instructions! This is the best pillowcase tutorial online IMHO. Thanks!

@robingallagher, these are so cute! I just made four for Christmas presents with my grandmother. For us it took fourty-five minutes to an hour. P.S. This was my first big sewing project! Thank you and God bless. :)

Spent money to take the pillowcase class at quilting store. I love your tutorial, it is clearer than the course. It is so easy to do & quick. Thanks so much. Yokum9737

No entendí nada de lo que dijiste, pero lo que vi me resulta muy útil.

como me gustaria que lo explicaras en spanish se ve muy facil
to Ladysiz101 - Flannel will make it thicker and more difficult to sew through. The other option is to use a serger and serge the sides instead of the french seams or I guess you could just sew a seam and zigzag the edge. Either way would work but would not be as nice a finish as the french seam.

Width of fabric (WOF) is typically 42 - 44 inches.

I would like to make a satin pillowcase - are the measurements the same? Do you have any particular advice for working with satin fabric?

@BelleCheveux I'm sorry I've never made a pillowcase using satin. I would guess it would be somewhat difficult to work with satin because if is slippery.

@nola541 I'm glad it worked for you. Two in an hours, not bad.
