  • Gorgeous piece of music translated perfectly by Tomita to synthesizer. I bought this album in 1975. First thing I'd ever heard by him. I loved it and immediately bought "Pictures At An Exhibition" when it was released soon after. Been a fan ever since. I cannot find "Bermuda Triangle" on CD. Has it ever been released on that format?

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN

I don't have one but, yes, there is "Bermuda Triangle" on CD. It is still avilable.

You can find it on AMAZON.

  • In October 1981, I was on a navy ship, and we were anchored at Farillon de Mendinilla, a small island north of Guam used by the navy as a bombing range. (I had bought "Tomita's Greatest Hits" a couple of months earlier in Hawaii and was absolutely smitten by "Reverie.".) The engineers were doing drills, the boilers were shut down, we were at anchor. Silence. Not a cloud in the sky. The stars were as thick as the hair on a dog's back. Pure sonic ambrosia before next day's stark reality.

  • This is beautiful. Debussy my favorite impressionist and my favorite piece of his. Masterly rendered by this genius Tomita. I am sure Isao knew exactly what was going through Claude's mind when he composed Reverie... My imagination used to travel far away every time I listened to this song and all the album, back in early 80s.

  • this is incredible "synthesizer / electronica" music, especially given the fact it was made in the early to mid 70's

  • Tomita-san learned me to appreciate Debussy. Now, Debussy is from far away my FAVOURITE classical composer ! ♥

  • Buy all my TOMITA CDs from FAR SIDE MUSIC.COM in the UK in fact anything japanese from them.

  • My favourite album since it first came out. My favourite all time piece by Tomita is his rendition of "Ave Maria" which is here on U-Tube. Thanks for posting.

  • more than 5 stars... heaven on a keyboard.. why cant life be as relaxed..

  • Reverie - Tomita, Iseo [Tokyo, Japan] - 1974 - "AMG Pick. The recording was a finalist for three Grammies in 1975, including best classical album of the year - and it was NARM's best-selling classical album of the year." - Clair De Lune; Snowflakes Are Dancing; Etc. [Japan LP Sleeve] [Remastered] [Japan] [Import, Original Recording Remastered] (RCA Red Seal)-2006.

  • Este disco es hermoso, la música de Claude Debussy en manos de Tomita y sus sintetizadores hacen una gama de colores bellísima

  • @toshishun1963, Thank you very much! It's been at least a year since I've searched online for it. You were right. There are several available on Amazon. I will order one soon. Once again, thank you. I truly appreciate it!
