WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas, geared at a non-atheist audience. It is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin. The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

  • AronRa's laugh at 10:27 gets me everytime xD

  • @PurpleStorm8 I think he looks like a combination. Maybe he hugs bunnies but kicks peoples ass.

  • @cdickenson64 Hippe?

He looks like a bad-ass Death Metal guitarist like Toki Wartooth.

  • lol AronRa kinda reminds me of that scene in Wayne's World where they meet Alice Cooper backstage and they are expecting some party animal then he opens his mout and... "wtf"

  • I wish I was as smart and eloquent as AronRa is. The man is a "Hippie" by appearence, he rides a harley, and he absolutely blows away the stereotype in his intelligence and smooth mannerisms.

  • Being loud doesn't make ignorance truth.

  • How could Adam and Eve have known it was wrong to defy God and eat from the Tree of Good and Evil if they didn't understand what 'wrong' was?

  • After 20 minutes, I still have no damn idea what the "law of love" is...

  • @TheSkunkCat

Actually in that sense a better counterargument to the religious guy is that if you eat fruits you will probably kill lots of microorganisms living in the fruit. That'd be unavoidable. Even the ones that survive being in your body and might even infect you. Some of them die. In fact your entire body is a big war between microorganisms, your immune system and even symbiotic bacteria. So indeed if a god designed that, then death is STILL designed into the system even with fruit.

  • Well, technically eating FRUITS, doesn't kill the fruitbearing trees, shrubs etc.

Eating ROOT-vegetables does kill the plant (Although they didn't have potatoes in the ancient middle east, given how potatoes are native to the Andes. (However they probably had other rootvegetables) But fruits... eh, not so much.

I don't want to defend the religious guy (because he's spouting nonsense (Albeit at least a loveable sort of happy nonsense, nonsense nonetheless.)

But eating fruit doesn't kill plants
