A tribute to those fine British in scarlet. I was unable to recover the other two tributes unfortunately.

The footage is from 'The Patriot', 'Hornblower: Frogs & Lobsters' and 'Sharpe's Eagle'.

The songs are 'British Grenadiers' from the Barry Lyndon soundtrack and 'Over the Hills and Faraway' by John Tam coupled with the intro theme to 'Sharpe'.

  • why are there people arguing about the second World War here? I don't see any connection to this video. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I bevlieve the last war the Redocats were involved in was WWI.

I actually only came here for the music, do you trolls really have to ruin everything?

  • *tongue firmly planted in cheek* say what you will about the evils of empire but we brits sure did it with style

  • @uafchris And from that point on europe would forever label americans war mongering trigger happy morons because we were forced into a war we wanted no part in mainly because it was completely apparent that if we had been in your situation you would have done nothing to help us. And lets not kid ourselves, until about D day Britain was basically on the defensive while russia was left to manage germany.

  • @DanTheGerbil360 It make me laugh when britts complain about the american educational system as i have researched said system while in england and i can't find a single discernible superiority. Makes one think.

  • Why do I have the urge to aim a cannon at them?...

  • how did you lose the other 2 just wondering i liked the 2nd one with the charge on the fort in Sharpe...

  • @3027085 yea i came here for the music da music is awesome, but people are just so damn ignorant these days... like legit..The U.S and the British have really tight ties to each other and are bffs

  • Love how sharpy is in this! made me smile! :-)

  • @TheHenrySavage The Army which captured Washington and burned the White House were British Army regular troops. Google "The Burning of Washington if you don't believe me. Incidentally, the burning of Washington had no effect on the outcome of the war.
