Everyone is probably a little CERN'd out so here's a video regarding the Jules Verne ATV undocked from the International Space Station on 5 September 2008. Source- http://www.esa.int/esa-mmg/mmghome.pl

  • Its basically a cargo container. to supply the ISS. After emptying it of food, supplies..they put the trash in it and drop it. I work on part of the "disposable" electronics.

  • why is it undocking?

  • jesus, I know you can't really tell scale in space, but the ISS looks HUGE.

  • Comfy chair, hot cup of tea, "The Blue Danube" in the background and this on the monitor = pleasure. :)
