Ric introduces his art deco style 'Pelican Jugs'. He uses a hydraulic clay press, hydraulic clay extruder and hand extruder to make the components then assembles them.

  • You have this down to a science. It stops having the charm of handthrown/handmade pottery. You're basically an assembly line. Nothing much different than what the Chinese do.

  • @allpalz These are production pots. To make a full time living from studio ceramics, you can only make one off pots occasionally.
