@LaMisereHQ I like both, though, I have always been a bigger Phantom Phan, even when I was really young. Of course Les Mes has more complex characters, and a REALLY interesting storyline, I still prefer Phantom cuz of the Phantom character himself. As for the effects, yeah, they do help the show alot. But the lyrics are phenomenal! IDK, just my opinion...but one thing's assured, I HATE CATS AND ALWAYS WILL!
@adam4757 The new US tour is about to start rehearsals. There is a 25th anniversary UK tour right now. The O2 arena show is around the corner. MTIShows.com used to have a list of upcoming productions, but their site kinda sucks.
Googling has also come up with a production in New Zealand, other than a zillion school productions. Les Miz's info may not be as well organized as Phantom's, but things like "best" and "popularity" are incredibly hard to quantify.
@adam4757 So you're basing your comment on what the vendors make available on the corporate website? Les Miz has been released for regional/commercial theatres in the US and is still being performed all over the world. Just because the official Les Miz site is now London-centric doesn't mean that's the only place you can see it.
@becky2shoes I did! And when I went on the Les Mis website you could only book tickets for London. On the Phantom website there were tickets for London, New York, USA tour, Las Vegas and more.
les mis i'm sure is great but the music makes me want to bang my head into a wall over and over and over again until i black out it's so depressing

@becky2shoes I think you misunderstood the meaning of "currently" and "professionally".

@becky2shoes Enlighten me. Where can CURRENTLY (An extreme emphasis on the word CURRENTLY) see it professionally other than in London?
