Your play is simply amazing! I love Red River Valley ever since we used to sing it in Elementary School choir. Thanks for sharing, and greetings from Europe!

great playing and beautiful weis. how is that headstock? is it difficult to restring at all? do the sound holes being on the sides like that make a difference in the sound??

@IRunLA90210
thanks
restringing is easy, go to daniel brauchli's site to see pictures; soundwise there's no difference.

Very nice - I hear some of Bob Brozmans style in your playing. I love the sound of your new Weissenborn. I bet you paid dearly for that baby ;-). Whats your wife think?
Take care and keep up the great picking

Thanks, yep, it's difficult to play slide without some of Bob's stuff showing.
As long as the guitars are the only things I'm fiddlin' with, the wife doesn't mind ;-)
A "Brauchli" is not that expensive, check out his website.

beautiful, as always. quick question: I recently started playing slide on round necks and am looking to invest in a squareneck/lap style. Do you recommend weissenborns over squarenecks? I played some Beard resonators that I like but also some nice weisses, I was wondering if you had any advice...

Thanks for the compliments. I'd go for a Weiss, squareneck reso's are too bluegrassy for me.
