BTTF 2 and 3 were shot at the same time to save cost.
The quick turn around of the two films left them a little under-developed compared to the outstanding first movie. Gotta love 'em anyway.

also when they get back to 1985, marty is supposed to be in switzerland. so he would not have been able to travel forward to 2015?!

to solve your problems time travel dosnt effect our past because even if you went back in time and changed something you would return to a different future wich would be a paralell universe.
even if you went back and killed your own grandfather it wouldnt effect you, it would efffect another you from being born.

@iTzYoMaster That's true, because if you went forward in 1985 you'd have been in the future, that or Doc's statement about time not being written is false, because it'd have to be for him to see himself! It'd have to be written that he went back otherwise HE WOULDN'T BE THERE AND HE'D HAVE HAD NO KIDS >:(
