First off!,...This area is called Groundhog Lake and second at minute 1:37 on this video the going up the the mountain on his sled is called Mt Agnes. This is where they have the annual hillclimbing event but has been cancelled for several years due to the lack of entries

Those sled are whinpy... what they had to be under 200 hp becuase a bravo could start off the line faster. No Joke!

Never riden with a 300-400hp 4-stroke turbo, eh? You're right, the 2-strokes did beat the 4-strokes off the line. Then the 4-strokes beat the 2-strokes to the top of the hill by 100+ yards. Basically handing there asses to them. If you've ever ridden these big HP sleds that are set-up for 'climbing', you would know that they do not transfer off the line as well when drag racing.

My good buddy has a 400 hp rx1 and its slow as shit but the guy he brought it off has a 680 hp rx1. Its pretty fast but still gets beat on the uphill drags. If u where in newfoundland the other week for the Race on The Rock u would of seen it for yourself... and a 200 hp 2 stroke = about a 400hp 4 stroke.. lol

For some reason the RX1s were never a fast machine in the hills. I ride a Turbo Vector (only 280HP) and love it! I filmed a M1000 Turbo spank some 4 strokes last weekend. it just didn't have the top speed as the 4-strokes, but wicked fast off the line!

@SLEDJUNKIES well said my freind so is this like barkerville(historic site)? im wondering because i am going sledding this saturday to there not sure what its like so yeah. by the very very nice sleds

Yes, it is the Barkerville Historic Site. We unload right in the Parking Lot at the Barkerville site. Have fun! I'm hoping to get up there a few times this year. If you're passing thru 100 Mile House, our club is having a Pub Night this Saturday (2009/11/21). We're also playing UFC!!
