Hanging with the Whale Sharks in Cebu, Philippines

While on a recent trip to Dumaguete in the Philippines we got the extraordinary opportunity to spend two days diving with a pod of Whale Sharks. On our first day there we encountered five Whale Sharks hanging around with local fishermen. On our second visit it was obvious that the local fishermen had become quite comfortable with the Whale Sharks, and that likewise the Whale Sharks had begun to understand the benefits of hanging out with the fishermen. While the fishermen were feeding Krill to the Whale Sharks we got the opportunity to dive and snorkel with them. This footage is from that second visit.
