Guido Crepax fez o mundo se apaixonar por sua Valentina, uma fotógrafa descolada que vivia fantasias fetichistas e devaneios oníricos povoados de referências à Art Nouveau. Com ela, pela primeira vez os gibis entraram na lista dos artigos culturais de primeira classe. Tudo isso fez de Valentina um best-seller na Itália e Europa. A obra de Crepax influenciou grandes nomes dos
quadrinhos adultos, como Manara e Serpieri.

A fantastic film, finally managed to get the DVD... well worth the long search... both Carol Baker and Isabelle de Funès look great. It is an absolute must for anyone with even the slightest interest in giallo movies or in Guido Crepax... a pity Valentina didn't receive the same kind of treatment other great comic characters have... I would love to see Sasha Grey doing a new movie about Crepax's heroine... and it wouldn't even have to be x-rated!
