I believe only a certain kind of Super 8 VHS will work. Alot of sony variations don't.

I actually used Ampex 456 reel-to-reel tape. Some reels of BASF wouldn't work, but it was just a case of trial and error.

For the casio sk-8? Or general purpose CV?

Hey! How did you solved the problem, that middle position of ribbon is stable? I mean When you don't touch the ribbon it goes back to it's middle, original position. :O

find some svhs tape (act like a resistance strip band)same piece of cooper sheet could put double sided not too thick tape to act like a pressure switch ....and some kind of non static piece of tissue to recover the all thing find nice piece of wood for the body of your ribbon controller 1/4 or whatever you want JACk in and out ...its done
