Installing a custom ROM will void your warranty. However its getting to be a rather simple process with apps like Droid Root Pro and Sholes Mod Updater. If you would happen to brick your phone, just chuck it against the wall and destroy it and then pay the $80 for a new phone off of insurance.

thx for the video, now i know the nexus is still not rly "faster" than the iphone. maybe in specs but the userinterface still bad and the browser is slow in loading and when you move the page it´s like 5fps. thats not good.

This was a boot up from a fresh restore so the phone was still loading everything. I had the Iphone 2G, 3G, and 3GS and trust me the DROID 2.0.1 or the DROID running Nexus is much faster than the IPHONE. I will redo a video so u can see.
