Why is it small-minded? Food for thought, I like to think. I do not understand what heterosexual priviledges of which you speak. A gay or straight person can do whatever he or she want besides marry depending in which state one lives. Besides marriage is just a piece of paper. The bondage of souls does not depend on a certificate. Also, because an idea is slightly more universally accepted than another does not mean it is metorphorically celebrated on a monthly basis.

Heterosexual pride month is every month in which you can marry who you like, walk down the street holding your partner's hand in peace and every month in which you keep all of your heterosexual privileges. Heterosexual pride month is EVERY month, and this question in itself seems extremely small-minded.
