This is a sweet mantra chanting the name of Sikh Guru Ram Das , and also divine . Sung by lots of singers in different way , we also tryed to make it in our own tune and music . We Christer Jonsson, Ivan Tikota , Mossi & Suvas Agam are the friends playing here in this song .

Guru Ram Das (Punjabi: ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮ ਦਾਸ) (Born in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan on 9 October 1534 1 September 1581, Amritsar, Punjab, India) as the fourth of the Ten Gurus of Sikhism, and he became Guru on 30 August 1574 following in the footsteps of his father in law Guru Amar Das.
He was born in Lahore to a Sodhi family of Khatri clan. His father was Hari Das and mother Anup Devi, and his name was Jetha, 'first born'. His wife was Bibi Bhani, the younger daughter of Guru Amar Das, the third guru of the Sikhs. They had three sons: Prithi Chand, Mahadev and Arjan Dev.
As a Guru One of his main contributions to Sikhism was organizing the structure of Sikh society. Additionally, he was the author of Laava, the hymns of the Marriage Rites, the designer of the Harmandir Sahib, and the planner and creator of the township of Ramdaspur (later Amritsar).
A hymn by Guru Ram Das from page 305 of the Guru Granth Sahib:
One who calls himself a Sikh of the True Guru shall get up early morning and meditate on the Lord's Name. Make effort regularly to cleanse, bathe & dip in the ambrosial pool. Upon Guru's instructions, chant Har, Har singing which, all misdeeds, sins and pains shall go away.
Guru Ram Das nominated Guru Arjan Dev, his youngest son, as the next Guru of the Sikhs.

  • they probally dont even know what a sikhism is- and that sikhs are anti hippy.

sikhism does not believe in cults of hippism and completly rejects this.

this is very worng. - they doing a sikh prayer !! this is not simply a song - its a prayer

  • Hey Tokri , Sorry brother , I really appreciate all your comments and i know that i should have cover my and our friends head but we were in the flow of music and we were jamming and singing for Satguru Ram Das Ji , I sing for god i know what is sikhism very well So plz try to see the song and feel it instead of commenting bad on us . I really respect your comment . With love Suvas . Wahe Guru Ki Khalsa Wahe Guru Ki Fathe ,, ,

  • @SuvasAgam its great you replied with compassion. But i am very very concerned. Sikhism rejects cults, and all sikhs follow the same religon. referring to the guru as "Sat Guru" is what hindu sikh cults call the gurus in an attempt to remove their status as divine. cults such as naamdhari rss and nirankaris refer to the gurus in this way.

sikhism is not an off shoot of hinduism, or a mix of islam and hinduism.

its all good meditating but not through a holyman, or a cult

    We are in theWest

  • @tokri3 Thankyou Tokri3 again for your sweet message . I admire and respect all the things that you said . With Love Suvas

  • Hey 9nihal i am happy for your conscious comment , it was not actually concert or a performance it was just a jamming, a kind of practice and simply we took video and posted it , I my self use to sing a lots of sabad in gurudwara by covering my head and i know it , and in other sabads we will try to put cover head even in jamming , thanks for your conscious comment . with peace s.
