Like the Greek god Mercury, QMS burned across the sky, brighter than all the other Golden Gate bands, and then they were gone. I discovered new worlds listening to this song in my freshman dorm room in 1969. . . Love is life, and Quicksilver will live forever.
I got the priveledge of seeing John Cippolina perform many times at a couple of small venues in Santa Cruz in the mid to late 80's with the Dinosaurs and by himself. He was gracious, mesmerizing, and a true artist. His mom was always in the front row cheering her son on. I was so sad to hear of his death, I could sense he was not going to be around much longer when his smoking starting taking a toll on his voice and health in general. True genius I had a chance to witness. Peace
Steve. You need to contact Norm Davis. Norm's a former KSAN DJ who runs a website dedicated to KSAN the Jive 95. Apparently I can't link the website here, but do a websearch for the Jive95.com
The website dedicated to KMPX/KSAN. This concert would be a valuable addition to their archives which include rare live concerts by Janis & Big Brother, Cold Blood, Van Morrison, Hot Tuna, It's A Beautiful Day and many others.

Sure is. An achievement they can be proud of.

Not only did I find a version that YouTube didn't force you to chop up, but it even exceeds the studio version for heaviness!
