THIS is what Black Metal SHOULD be, period. Long time Setherial fan, they've gone through a lot of line up changes and honestly this is their best, most intense piece of work since Hell Eternal imho.
For the kiddies blabbing on about Dimmu Borgir, they are anything but Black Metal, any band that puts opera and symphony elements into their music is basically Symphonic Metal.
Not bashing their music, but it's NOT Black Metal....period!

@tylerash98 lol, you clearly arent a metal vocalist, thats not screaming, its harsh vocals, done correctly you can do them at w/e volume you deem fit and use the same techniques of cleaning, just in a harsh tone, while yes most black metal does tend to keep its one tone and have little variation, mastering the technique in itself is complicated, ive been doing vocals for well over 3 years and take private voice lessons and choir to better myself, and i still consider myself new.
