Filmed from what felt like a football field away on a cheap Canon Powershot camera.(16X zoom) Technical difficulties arise during Old Man. Neil stops the song. It turns out to be Larry Cragg's (guitar tech) banjo. .Neil teases the crowd and Larry with doing another song and says he didn't know his acoustic was electrc. Neil starts the song and Larry has the task of finding a mic for his banjo
But Larry arrives on cue and it's great!!!

Last nights performance in Brisbane Australia.

  • Thanks for posting... I was their too NEIL ROCKS LOZAROK !!

  • I Was at this concert with my parents and my brother it was AWESOME!! Neil Young is the Man. Rock On! Neil!

I admire his music and I admire him as a human being

  • I have to admit I'm envious of that, though, back when he was playing No Hidden Path alot, I saw him october w/e on a wednesday and then two days later on November 1st that friday. Neil and his band jammed to No Hidden Path for 23 mins on that friday night...this guy is amazing. He plays everything as if he just wrote it. Truly a fucking legend. Just wish maybe it was later in the tour when he was bringing out down by the river and such :p

  • You never know what you'll actually see with Neil, he changes interest so much, I'm so glad I saw him in 2007 after he released Chrome Dreams II and was into playing a lot of his unreleased and or rarely played live (ambulance blues, campaigner etc) material from that time. I saw him play Old Man...but solo acoustic...nothing beats that. Look up the BBC performance from 71...and you'd know. Though I will admit at the new Nokia in LA it wasn't the best for rocking out as he has done lately.

  • i didnt no this was electric---- i love that line hes so brilliant he could probably make a Record from that .-----a night to remember

  • was there too that night, man he still rocks harder than last time I saw him in the 80's. agree with the old shits thing, man i've never seen so many people walking around in a concert going to the dunnies and back etc

  • I was part of that crowd, and yes there were a lot of boring old shits there that night, but for a few of us who really did enjoy the night Neil was great, the best. I was about 100m back but could hear him clearly and I really enjoyed this song and commentry. He gave us all so much that night, which I will never forget. Thanks Neil, come back soon.

  • waz there!!!!! go off neil!!
