Me too. I didn't grow up with it. In fact, I wasn't able to play it until a copy was found in a second-hand store 2 years ago. It was one of the best purchases i've made. :)

One of THE most underrated in my opinion, simply because it was on the SMS at the time when the NES ruled the world in terms of games.

Excellent game, for me at least 9/10

Even with TAS it was slow.

That first level took far too long,with many mistakes.With practice ,you can nearly go full speed through the 1st stage to the warp point.But you need to have perfected the jumping.And miss that 1st bendy pole,it wastes too much time.

I'm starting my second speed run game,on the real hardware,with new zealand story finished in just over 5 minutes.Psycho fox is now the focus.

I wanted this game so badly when it came out. There were no previews or anything like such in my day. The game artwork looked awesome and the back cover showed some cool stuff. I got this game on ebay thinking it would be great. Man, what a piece of crap this game is. Wonder Boy has this beat by several light years.

I grow up with this one. It was my favourite besides Sonic 1+2, Wonder Boy 2 + 3 and Alex Kidd before I get my Super Nintendo.How I loved the game lol. Never made it to the end and didn't know that warpzone.
