Obama is in full campaign mode. He thinks the deficit can be eliminated through cuts in spending in the tax code. In other words, cut loopholes that will in turn raise taxes. AA is a system created to provide equal opportunities for those regardless of their race. Its a step to even out the huge head start those of Caucasian decent have in this country which began back in the times of slavery and still continues to this day. If you use a little common sense its easy to see that those from a wealthy background would have an easier time focusing on their academic work since they dont worry about the basic needs like a place to stay, bills to pay, job while in school.

Dude, no family in these modern times has EVER had an advantage because of slavery. THey are not my ancestors, shithead. Blame your ancestors for enslaving your own people into slavery! You know the difference between my family and yours? My father was willing to work hard to support his family and attend night classes for six years to get his degree so he could get a better job and thus afford a house to live in, food to eat, and raise a family. Another point you are not going to agree with is that whites have had a huge head start in this country because of racial discri., and slavery. I will say it again, if you remove the race, gender, law from the job application which is affirmative action, it will create a job market where a business, or government can hire whomever they feel like! In turn, it will create a worse system because lets say a company ceo is white, and he feels like hiring all white males to work for him, he can! Whites DO not own the majority weath inthe ccountry if they did, this qualified, educated white male wouldn't be complaining about being the victim of reverse discrimination at every turn. Employers should seek out the BEST qualified PERSON, not based on their race or gender. take if you don't believe in MLK's dream of equality than if you think AA should not be repealed. Even MLK didn't believe minorities should get preference. REPEAL AA NOW!
