Green Roof Retrofit and Installation on Drum Artz Building, Toronto, Xero Flor & Avenue Road Roofing

This two minute video shows how an empty industrial wasteland can easily be transformed into an ecological, recreational and functioning additional educational space with a low maintenance, lightweight, drought tolerant green roof.

Avenue Road Roofing and Xero Flor Canada got together in Autumn 2008 to retrofit this leaky roof. The XF301 system not only beautifies the view and cleans the air and surrounding environment, it helps increase the lifespan of the roof and insulates the building.
