We Are
A non-profit, non partisan association registered with the State of California.
A military association comprised of Vietnamese Americans who are current or former military service members from all branches of the U.S. military who are united together by the bonds of mutual respect and selfless service.
VAAFA members
Are proud of their Vietnamese American heritage and are grateful for the privilege to live and partake in the American dream and way of life; for which they pledged to protect and defend.
Are involved in their communities by being active in civic events and service activities in order to promote the values of Excellence, Integrity, Patriotism, Pride, & Support.
Our Mission
To provide professional development, mentorship, esprit de corps, and networking for current and former Vietnamese American service members in the United States Armed Forces.
To provide support to members and their families when they are in need, at home and on the front lines.
To share our experiences with the Vietnamese American community in order to highlight the pride and benefits of military service.
Our Vision
To recognize the honorable military service and continued contributions by Vietnamese Americans in the U.S. Armed Forces.
To raise awareness within the Vietnamese American community of the sacrifices of those who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our way of life.
To be active participants in the professional development of the Vietnamese American community.
