All over the world, labor unions fight continued battles for the common good and the working class. This used to be the case in the US, however more recently many United States unions have become an extension of the Democratic Party. Is this continued relationship between unions and Democrats going weaken their strength?

  • That's because they need to spend their money on Direct Action instead of worthless Democrats! Go back to your roots of strikes and sabotage, and unions will start working again..

  • UNIONS=The folks who brought you the weekend, the overtime pay, paid vacation, medicare, medicaid, social security, disability benefits, 401k, the folks who brought you some dignity in your life.

Actually its unions that destroy these kinds of benefits. It was industrialization that paved the way for weekends and other benefits because people could do more work in less time because of more efficient methods and machines. Unions are the people that have bankrupted our states and bankrupted our car companies. How do those benefits work out when people have no job at all?

  • fuck unions

  • the military should be union, than no wars

  • @Hermansvague Yea what would Woody Guthrie think? Man people have come conditioned to this crap and except their suffering at the hands of Corporatism and slavery

  • @spasev And the people that created unsustainably.

  • Bunch of thugs really

  • @badattitude77769 you're right, you definately don't impress.

you do you punch lines and your statement is full of self-interest.

again, learn some economics. unions don't serve workers, they serve themselves.

  • @ThePoliticalPugilist Not here to impress, have worked union and non union, have helped make many of those employers millions, non union, many times working for free, ripped off on pay, no benefits, no pension, even union, wages have only been raised 29 cents a year in the past twenty nine years. I do not use punch lines, get a clue clown.

  • @badattitude77769 learn some economics, not a punch line off msnbc. im unimpressed by your responce.

really though- learn the difference between austrian free markets economics and keyensian "free market econonics", you just might learn something.

  • @spasev Thank you! The C word, corporate, wish that word had never been. Ceo's making millions, workers getting shafted.
