  • Ah! Wonderful. I am a beginner and have just started on this tune. My version so far doesn't sound anything like this! My speed is all wrong so far. But I now know what to aim for :)

    Many thanks!

  • Thank you for the comment!

I remember learning this tune almost 10 years ago and have loved it ever since. Keep at it and I hope you enjoy its melody as much as I do.

  • Great piping, wish i can somtimes only 10% so good piping like you. But im only a beginner without teacher, only book and cd, and so i fight with the throw D an this son in the moment.

    Greatings from old germany

  • Thank you for the comment. I can relate, sometimes I feel very isolated from bagpipe teachers/communities. Just practice the transitions slowly and work on the technique part of things. The melody will soon follow.

    Keep at it!

  • Thanks, but if you believe or not, 10 Minutes ago, i play it on the practice chanater, and the sound is like this tune. Okay, not so good like yours, but you are a master, im only a ensing. Time comes, i hope, that i can play it than also on a pipe.

    Thanks for your answer.

  • Well, I am hardly a master, but I appreciate the compliment =).

All the best on your piping journey.

  • Great playing.

  • I'm learning that tune as well, but I have to fix my double Cs and Bs, they are still clumsy. Well done there, your bagpipes have a beautiful sound.
