i love this song and i think that people are allowed opinions so we shouldnt be fighting with them just because you dont agree. it ruins the experience of listening to good music if you have to read other peoples hate x

I've read over some of the comments below, people bickering as usual about something else, I guess I'll go ahead and be a hypocrite and throw my 2 cents in. Here's the bottom line, Fleet foxes are a band that are reviving a type of spirit in music that I don't think that we've seen since the 70s, every good band is unique in it's own way. Coldplay is legendary, but when unique bands create something as beautiful as this, it is meant to only be played by it's creators that's where the soul lies.

I genuinely wish I could have babies with this song: it is ridiculously beautiful.

I don't know man think of all the people who continue to like their music, critics and fans alike. I mean the fact a whacked out grunge experimenting band was able to garner success in the main stream music scene is pretty fucking incredible. But everyone has different tastes.

sorry guys I agre with him... Although countless fanboys would die for kurt cobain. Nirvana is over rated. If you ask me the real band of the grunge era was pearl jam, godam I love even flow.

in this case it is. comparing true indiefolk with a commercial mainstream pop band as coldplay IS talking shit about them in my opinion. kylie minouge also did pink floyd's time live, but that doesn't make them similiar. got my point?

I wasn't comparing them, I was saying that this song is within Coldplay's live performance scope. Sorry, but I don't see how that could possibly be derogatory. Like what ripsyd said, folk isn't about being a tool. People can have differing opinions, but it doesn't mean it's talking shit.
