Ayatollah Khamenei noted that moving in the right path of perseverance against bullies until gaining progress and independence will cost some price, adding that Imam Khomeini relinquished public trust as the price of the path but God reimbursed the price doubly to him so that the population in his funeral procession was by far larger than the procession which welcomed the great leader back from exile in 1979.
Ayatollah Khamenei confirmed that the sole path for every nation to its aspirations and rights is that nation's farsightedness and vigilant resistance.
"The rights of a nation could not be restored through begging, climbdown or soft tone towards domineers rather it must be restored by effort and perseverance," Ayatollah Khamenei underlined.
Ayatollah Khamenei described the Iranian nation's perseverance and diligence as the leading cause of stability of the government and materialization of national independence and dignity, adding that the perseverance and farsighted conduct of the Iranian nation has made the world bullies to conclude that whenever it comes to defend its right, an Iranian never retreats from the field of menace.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the unwavering national perseverance would set the stage for the restoration of the rights of the Iranian people in every ground, including the nuclear energy.
"The free and independent Iranian nation is not accustomed to beg to the domineering powers to let it gain nuclear energy or its other rights rather this great nation and its promising youths have established confidence in themselves and thank to their past 28 years of experiences they realize that by farsighted perseverance they can restore all their rights," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
The Islamic Revolution Leader said the creation of a new entity, the Islamic Republic, inside the sensitive Middle East was a principal move of Imam the departed in light of the global arrogance's plan to gain dominance over the region following the second world war.
"Iran too was under the full and deep dominance of the arrogant America in those dark times and for the same reason the miracle of the Islamic Revolution which came about through the unique guide of Imam and the sedulity of the people took aback all the domineers save the farsighted people who realized in the same moment that the path of region has altered with the flag of Islam having been hoisted," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
Ayatollah Khamenei raised the enemies' failed attempts to annihilate the Islamic Republic and said that despite all those projects and ploys, the new entity which Imam created had turned to become the most stable regional system at present and the Iranian nation was regarded as the most enthusiastic, determined and reputable nation with the honorable Imam increasingly enjoying popularity among the Muslim masses and intellectuals.
