Awesome playing dave8326, you should check out the original by a guy named Larry Davis its fantastic. If you love SRV's playing Larry's version has some great licks that were a huge influence on stevie, as well as Al and Freddie King, Earl Hooker and Buddy Guy to name a few. Keep up the great work!

Great Playing and great SRV tone! Are you using any effects and are the p90's noisy. I had a beautiful Mohogany Stat but sold it because the single coil noise was so annoying. Also, are you tuned down like SRV.

Well done, I am so envious, both the guitar and your ability.

Are you self taught? Really good stuff.

@Texasblues89 I think Clapton loves it when someone who is a young talent like this guy plays blues rock stuff really well and soulfully. Don't see where that comment is coming from.

@dave8386 its not the guitar. just like stvie said "play low, tune high and floor it - thats technical talk"
Dude! excellent playing & sound! but I think it's called a Les paul 60's tribute. I want one!!!!!!

Thanks man. And this actually is a Les Paul 50s tribute. They made the 60s tribute, which has a slimmer neck, but they first made the 50s tribute which has a 50s-style neck. They're essentially the same - the only difference is the neck. I also think they might have made fewer of the 50s tribute.
