1A Auto shows you how to repair, install, fix, change or replace a broken, damaged, faded, worn or faulty turn signal stalk, high beam and wiper switch. This video is applicable to 2001-2007 Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country models. The internal parts in these switches sometimes break which results in the high beam lights not staying on or your turn signals or windshield wipers not turning off.

  • some forums I was reading says you have to disconnect the battery so you don't set off the airbag ... is that necessary?

  • @dkerzman You can follow our video and it will be fine. If you do decide to disconnect the battery that's fine too.

  • Awesome! Thanks... I was wondering why my signals don't return, and my idiotic mechanics couldn't figure it out either.... now, can you tell me how to repair the heating system on my dodge caravan? It seems to be the problem with a lot of owners

  • @Sweetashanni If the heat in your Caravan is luke warm, you could try to flush the cooling system. Your local auto parts store should carry a liguid flush. Usually there will be instructions on the back on how to use it also. It'll help to remove any gunk that may be in the radiator and heater core. If the vehicle is starting to get some age on it, this may help out a great deal. Hope this helps.
