The old version is 45 waves which can be downloaded from my blog. The new version has 25 wave instead of 45. The developer reduced it because he received many complains that players could not endure playing too many waves in the first world. However, the wave reduction has now make it impossible to get gold medal unless you have at least Level 2 MAX LIFE + No life loss during in-game and clicking the next wave at 40 seconds remaining.

The total points you can obtain from total monster alone is 113,232.

If you have level 2 max life, you will have 100 life which rewards 100x2,000 = 20,000 points.

And if you click next wave when you have at least 40 seconds remaining, you will earn 10,000 points.

10,000 + 200,000 + 113,232 = gold medal 323232.

yeah, i did a calculation on it, and you will need at least level 2 max life for world map 1, and clicking on next wave with ~40 seconds remaining.
