@counteroid1 Gold and silver originally when they first started the mine over a hundred years ago, but when the mine was re-opened in the 1960's they were mining gold, silver, lead, and a few other minerals that were then economical to extract from the ore. The ore however wasn't rich enough to make the mine profitable and was shut down again.
