GO Train 4/5 Southbound departing the 2nd station stop on the Barrie/Bradford GO Line on its way to Union Station in Toronto. LOVE the sound of this horn, GO is replacing the horns when each cab car and engine goes in for maintenance. I know for a fact that cab 200, and 212 have been upgraded recently with this horn, and engines 633, 629, 604, and 655 have them too!
It just sounds so much better than the ear splitting K5LLAs and the K5LAs GO used to use (and still do on the not-yet upgraded models).
Canadian train horns are nice but too polite when there are stupid people up ahead. The earsplitting screech of a Polish or Romanian train or a commanding two-tone British train horn is better for scaring the crap out of trespassers. Years ago I was leaning over the barrier to get a shot of an electric French ore train and the driver let loose with a full blast of his two-tone. I nearly dropped my camera. Canadian horns say "please," French ones say "get the hell off the track you idiot."
