I got one of these over a year ago with the intention of making a wee showreel for a college course. trouble is while the resolution is excellent on the HD setting (1280 x 720) i find the bit rate Waaay too lowand a bit grainy(especially in indoor light) at 88KPS. is there any way to drop res and kick up the bitrate? the quality of the tests on here are comparable to the quality I get, but some are definately better (like this video)
any tips people?

Yea believe it or not same thing happens with mine!
Just need to try and get nice bright conditions to get the bst out of this cam..

You can upscale it, but it wont be actual HD, and i don't know how to upscale things, sorry.

I have the same video camara, how do u put music on it? it has a music file but I cant find out how to put it on?

Do you mean the sound that the camera has recorded or a music track that you want to go with it?
