CR500R.avi

1993 Honda CR500R with some engine work done by Glenn at GSS Race Porting. He removed the exhaust bridge, ported & polished the jug, decked the head, and also bored the carb out a little and installed a carbon fiber clutch. I'm running a Pro-Circuit works pipe with an FMF sparky. I feed it C12 normally, but they were out so it's on VP 110C right now. It's a great all around bike to cruise around the desert on.

Nice bike, hows it holding together. I just got my cylinder trail ported by GSS but have got to ride a total of like 5 times in snow . I dont know how fast you are going but by the sounds of it that thing is geared to do 100+. Ps i search for 6th too.

@kptkyle Still starts first kick. I don't know about top speed, but I wish I had another gear! Too bad HRC doesn't make those wide ratio gears anymore.

Why'd you get the 500 if you're just gonna short shift it all the time? And you realize it's unnecessary to shift with the clutch right? Regardless, very nice bike, I'm jealous!

New motor, New clutch, just breaking everything in. Plus this thing is a tank, it pulls from idle to the rev limiter so I can launch in third if I want. The GSS motors are like that.
