A dear friend, a deep-as-the-ocean philosopher, a perceptive, intense, and very spiritual musician. I love this album! Thanks for sharing this!

Belzemax -Glad you enjoy good music. I have no recording dates of my own - 'Alas! always a sideman but never a star.' However I can be heard on Ken Makanda McIntyre's: STONE BLUES / Prestige New Jazz and his: THE COMPLETE UNITED ARTIST SESSIONS - Plus THE MUSIC OF THE SEVENTIES /Earl Cross/ Circle Records.
The music was recorded many years ago but is still as fresh and vibrant today.

Thanks for uploading this great music. Boykin was a great bass player, very underrated.

@Themancebo1 Thank you for the kind words. Wish i was more older to have seen him play when he passed.

Hey, Hey, Hey! Boykins walked where very few had the heart and strength to tread. - He was way ahead of his time - I am honored to have known him and played with him - doubly honored he chose me to make this trek with him.
