My book SAVED makes reference to the Clark girls visiting the character's church, that is loosely based on my life and others growing up. Anyways, in real life I grew up with the Clark Singers amongst others famous singers who frequented my real church, Progressive Baptist in St. Louis, back in the 70s under Reverend Linton (who has passed on). These girls (when young) used to tear our church up!!
