  • cool.... can i know the name of the lead patch in 2:16 till 2:48..........thanks....

  • I' don't remember , sorry :(

  • i have the vst version of this synth and it has no portamento does the real wavestation have one?

  • no, the wavestation has the same specifics of the VST

  • The patches you used in the 2 videos are the factory presets of the Wavestation or your own made patches ?

And how do you play pads leaving them continue without getting hands on ? is this Aftertouch ou Sustain pedal ?

  • All factory presets, I use the sustain ;)

  • mini lead!:) it's the best lead on the wavestation!

  • Not quite true. The VSTi has a resonant filter which the hardware lacks. Assuming you have a good audio interface it sounds better (Theoretically anyway) since you're using 24 bit D/A converters instead of the 14 bit one in the hardware. The effects are supposedly better quality too.

The biggest advantage though, is that programming the VST is a pleasure instead of a frustrating chore.

  • The sounds from 0:46 to 1:02 I'm pretty sure were used in Masters of Orion 2.

  • @skyver13 It's called Mini Lead, or lead...

  • I have an old wavestation, but I have yet to explore its true potential and just been playing around with it. Thanks for this vid, it was really inspiring!

  • @skyver13 seems like a basic lead pad

  • i have one for sale , mint condition 300$ montreal canada, contact me

  • Hey, just find someone who can teach you classically and dive in with some Mozart and Chopin. After a year you will be fluent enough and have no fear of notation. Thats what I did, just think as a child and enjoy it! :o)

  • Nice to see a youtube demo by someone who can REALLY play, I'm still fumbling along nicely though, thanks to Mr sequencer and his friend 'loops' Nice demo :)
