@miki941 Because in spite of what you see on websites that cover only high end devices, companies sell a lot of devices like this to ordinary people that just want a phone to make calls. Not everybody wants a smartphone with an expensive data plan and all that.

i have the same phone and i have texting but its been saying network not responding wen i try to send a text i have bars idk why it does that i calld verizon and they dont know why it does tht

@mobileburn i 100% agree but da phone could have came with a better camera i mean jeez my grandmas sanyo she just got came with a 1..3 mega pixel camera but then she never uses it so it really doesn't matter

And people that don't care about internet on their phones. I told my coworker who's 58 how cool my new droid 2 is. He said "what's the point? I have internet at home". I was like :-o
