  • Hi, The F1 car had no restriction at all. I had around 600bhp under my right foot and used it as much as I could. This was a fantastic feeling, something that I will near forget. Coming out of the down hairpin in fifth gear and than changing into sixth, I was told would be around 150mph. The only things add to the car was traction control and a full exhaust system to make it quieter. Also had no first or second to pro-long the life of the clutch. That's why they push start me at the beginning.

  • and finally, how long was the circuit? was it just a round oval? and how many laps did you get?

  • Hi, The circuit was in a 'L' shape and a mile long. Each person did 10 laps.

  • @oakhob How much does it cost? Do you know?

Which car is it? Which year?

    Regards

  • @cropereira Hi, It cost now about £1500.00 for Experience and was used by Luca Badoer, who is the current test driver for Ferrari. The car is a Forti-Corse FG03 and was raced 1996.

  • Hi, I did this experience about 3 years ago. Amasing, for about 15 minutes you follow pace car in small groups of 3. This graduly builds uo your speed. So by the end of your 30 minute session you are really doing some speeds through the bends.

  • Hi, Started off in a Lotus 10 laps, then 20 laps in a Formula Ford, then 10 more laps in a Formula three. Then had lunch, did not eat to much and finished of with 10 laps in the Formula 1 Car.

    Regards

    John

  • did they allow you to give it full throttle or is it restricted? what kind of speeds did you get up to?

  • Hi, It was much better than I had expected and still puts a smile on my face when I think about it, even a year later. Will try to send you a report I did for a magazine.

    Regards

    John

  • Was it as good as you expected?
