The "Read with Me!" campaign has held a series of 18 events as we organized reading sessions throughout Bucharest and the country. One of the stories read to the children was "Ca sarea în bucate," a story that has a powerful anti-discrimination message. It suggests that Roma and Romanian children should have equal opportunities and fight together against racism. Children were not the sole target of this education campaign. We also wanted to send out a message to parents, that through books they could teach their children important skills that would help them achieve their potential.
