@510robyn It's alway better to not allow them to get over weight. Mine are about 13lbs each. I know when I had my former schnauzers I didn't understand that 1/2 cup a day was enough! Especially Lyra she was small, I gave her 3/4 cup and thought that was OK. As she got older we discovered she had a thyroid problem. That would be unusal to live till 20, but it would be great if he did.

@TheShopgirl2000a A young guy that works at my vet recently asked if Niko was going to get any bigger! LOL! I keep him trim, that helps him look & feel younger. His parents lived into their teens so he has good genes. I hop0 ehe lives to 20, at least! hahahaha!!
