@morpheusatloppers In other words, Steven didn't want to get pushed off the chairlift (also very similar to a ferris wheel chair) so he said he had heard of the guy before so he wouldn't be a total stranger, because the guy only pushes off total strangers. That is my interpretation :)

Thanks a lot for posting these. I've always loved Steven Wright and his "dry" wit. Here's a couple more of his one liners.

Last week I installed a skylight in my apartment....my neighbors upstairs were furious.

The other day I went to a general store....they wouldn't let me buy anything specific.

Last night I played a blank tape at full volume.....the mime across the street went nuts.
