Final episode of the upcoming TALK | Climate Change series. It summarizes the previous episodes (yet to be released), and focusses on the ocean — the hydrosphere.

In Part 1, we take a look at ocean circulation patterns, and greenhouse gasses trapped in the depths, and what these mean.

  • Where is the rest of the series? :|

  • @digitalimpulse Thanks for asking. Regarding the other series: this was for a uni assignment to make one episode of a five-part series... I have outlines on the other 4 and might make them :)

  • @rudidas89 oh ok I'll go ahead and sub then.

  • @digitalimpulse hehe thanks - can't promise on when itll be though! :P busy

  • I just want to comment on the thermohaline circulation bit and the possibility of an imminent new ice age: while it's true that it seems to be theoretically possible for the circulation to be altered in this way, and that this has indeed likely happened in the past, it should be pointed out that the contention that this could happen in the near future is controversial among climate scientists. Potholer54 did a great video on this just the other day: watch?v=kmECHrOcFlc (his latest on this topic)

  • @werecow2003 Thanks for bringing that up. That's a good video you've linked to!
