  • we all know ronnie is the best...he is a genius and we all have to admit for many of us he is the reason we all watch snooker...he is not just a good player he is more than that and he makes the snooker better than all the other players...no disrespect to the other players but nobody can play like he does and he is the only one who can play just as good with the left hand...he makes miracles on the snooker table and he makes it look so easy...i love the way he plays we all do...i

  • When sulliven plays every thing look so easy

    .

  • 1st Video i've ever seen that have nice comments

  • @toynoise Thank you for your considerate reply. Please read my response to swamiatma.

  • @HalloFusilli Woops, I've fumbled up the replies. I mean to swamiatma.

  • @TheWestSux Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Please read my response to TheWestSux.

  • @TheWestSux but I don't think they seem to consider other things beside the size differences. Like the lack of strategic play compared to say nine ball. But again, I'm fairly new so please feel free to correct.

Thank you for the response without any nastiness.

  • @swamiatma has to make it "harder". But that, in my eyes, is much more easily dealt with than say developing the necessary skills to hit those intricate shots to run the table or to battle wits with your opponent when there is no shot and you have to block back and forth. I'm fairly new to snooker and this is what I've seen. Plus, I just don't like people who are so snobbish with their snooker and back it up with the table being bigger and balls pockets smaller. I know that is harder

  • @swamiatma I realize that given the scale in snooker those straight/cut shots are longer than is seen, but I still think that once you have practiced those shots enough straight-long and long-cut shots are relatively simple even given the extra length. My main concern is the great disparity, that I see, in strategic play vs say 9 ball where the much greater requirement for it calls for much more intricate/skillful shot making. I feel like its only the size differences that snooker

  • @HalloFusilli - That's like watching Tiger Woods play, then declaring that golf is easy. Ronnie MAKES this look easy and the shots are straight/slight cuts because he is controlling the cue ball with such skill. And don't mistake the scale - the 'short' shots are like long shots on a 9-ball table. Plus, this is a tournament table and the pockets are *very* narrow. But both are great sports.
