  • I love homemade ginger tea! Pepper is such a great tea ingredient, I don't think spiced chai would be the same without it.

Turmeric root isn't available in my area but I will try the ginger pepper tea for sure.

  • @LittleJawa Yea! Do it!

  • @hwiseman1 Sorry to say but at the end of that guys video,He says its OK to have a 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric with hot milk.Plus He said he wouldn't drink it with water because its part of his religion.

  • wow, i just happened upon this video, GREAT information and recipe, checking out your other videos, i have subbed!! thankyou for your knowledge and sharing it!

  • i have a question :does turmeric spice is as good as the root itself?

    thanks

  • @doston1 You fail to comprehend. It can if used wrongly. Of course, people cook with it but notice, Indians do not chug it down like Westerners. They use it especially with cooling herbs like fennel and coriander in their coking. There is an Indian ayurvedic doctor who explains the goodness of turmeric along with warnings on how best to utilize the root. Do a search...oh, it's on the right---> "Top 20 Benefits..." He has several vids. I wish you well.

  • @hwiseman1 Interesting. So, if Turmeric causes liver damage (bull), then why do millions of people eat it every day? Why, with a liver problem, would my doctor at Bastyr (world renown naturopathic hosptial in Seattle) prescribe Turmeric/Curcumin as part of rebuilding/protecting hepatic function? I'm really asking...

  • You will eventually hurt your liver drinking lots of turmeric tea. You should cook with it, not drink it with water.

  • tumeric smells nice, have you smelled it lately?

  • @danieldelaney I do not exist ;D
